Did you also notice that your cervical spine position affects your lumbar spine???🤯
Now…we all have a natural curve in our spines…that is normal. But further extension can put you at risk for injury ❌ And that is what we don’t want!
There are different training techniques 🏋🏼♀️ out there where people purposely put their neck in excessive extension….although these are out there…I would still argue it sets you up for poor form and injury.
Your neck and spine position set up your core for success, which sets up the rest of your body for success! So it is important to avoid ❌ overextending ❌!
